Bonus Time! We cover Waterworld a film that hasn’t garnered much love either at time of release or to date. This mega-water ensemble stars Kevin Costner, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Dennis Hopper as “The Deacon.” I would be re-miss not to mention Tina Majorino as “Enola” the little girl that is tatted up and in high demand all during this movie.
A smokin’ thanks goes out to Shawn Taylor from Indianapolis, Indiana for his request to review the movie and the 4K Disc. He proclaimed he didn’t understand the hate Waterworld has received and stated Universal did a good conversion to 4K albeit not a reference quality release. We indulge ourselves into the story while answering many questions like; Is it deserving of no-love? How is the acting? Does the score deserve an Oscar nomination? How is the 4K presentation? Has the film been scrubbed of grain? Was the DTS:X audio production worthwhile? Click that Play symbol to hear the answers, plus, much more!
