We are popping out another fan requested show for you this Monday with Gremlins, and this one is beloved by many for the nostalgia factor as many have considered this there first foray into horror at a young age. Directed by Joe Dante, the Piranha dude…Written by Chris Columbus, the Potter dude…Produced by Stephen Spielberg, the E.T. dude. Interestingly, there is a bit part by Polly Holiday, who played Flo the unflappable wise-cracker from the Alice TV Show from the 70’s.
A pleasing double-dare goes out to Tony Smith for requesting three movies from the 80’s for us to cover. This is the second film in this trio for him and he would like to know if the 4K version is a worthy upgrade to his standard HD collection. Ahhh, Gremlins is our topic but your snarky hosts have a barrage of problems with this flick and we tell all! Is this 35th Anniversary Edition another money grab in the 4K realm?
