052. Bonus – Zombie

We go back 40+ years to review and grade Lucio Fulci’s Zombie also known as Zombi 2 and Zombie Flesh Eaters. Some of the best practical gore effects ever filmed and one of Guillermo Del Toro’s inspirational landmark films that made him want to get into filmmaking. This low budget horror flick stars Tisa Farrow, Mia Farrow’s sister from the cult classic Rosemary’s Baby. Slow zombies are at play here, and we cover the slow vs. fast walking dead debate on this show too!

A super-sized thank you goes out to Kevin H. aka bugfugger21 from Chicago, Illinois for requesting us to inform him if the Blue Underground 4K Blu-ray Disc of Zombie is a worthy upgrade on the platform, specifically because it costs almost $40 bucks. Does this release on 4K even make sense? What about that steep price? Do the bloody effects hold up to the the detail and crispness 4K offers? We answer those questions and much, much more on one of our longer reviews topping in over an hour!
