Welcome to Episode 23 where our feature review is an Oscar winner for special effects. Ex Machina from 2014 stars mainly 3 people only; Domhnall Gleeson (the computer nerd), Alicia Vikander (the robot) and Oscar Isaac (the extravagant boss). OK friends it’s time to buckle up and listen to the hosts review and grade this film while tap-dancing around the story to give you the most informed decision whether Ex Machina delivers the goods as a movie and as a 4K Blu-ray release.
Our new segment “Viva Las Vegas” launches this week replacing the 4K Featurette Tip. This is a 5 minute or so segment where we cover briefly a Las Vegas, Nevada movie, with rating and recommendation. The whole movie doesn’t have to take place in Las Vegas but at least a substantial part must; either take place there or be filmed there. We hope you enjoy this new section as it will probably last the remainder of the year where we will then launch something new for 2021!
New shows are launching every week throughout 2020 on Thursdays. Then our originally anticipated schedule of bi-weekly will commence.
MOVIES in 4K is where BillChete and Lady Phantom discuss, review, criticize, analyze and debate one movie that has been released on the 4K Blu-ray format each and every episode. Guiding you on the merit of the movie with recommendations and on the purchasing power of physical media.
