019. Bonus – Blade Runner 2049

Look at this! We have back-to-back bonus episodes released on the last two Mondays for you! These extra shows are in addition to our regular scheduled Thursday releases as these are dedications to our amazing listeners. These specials focus solely on 4K Blu-ray movie requests, suggestions and recommendations that we received on our Guestbook from our fans!

We thank Andrew Fulton who wanted to know how good this sequel is and thought (even though he hasn’t seen the 4K version yet) this title should look epic on 4K Blu-ray. Your unflappable hosts had to watch the original Blade Runner from 1982, and we provide a quick review/rating to that film to get a feel for this franchise before tackling Andrew’s request. This long awaited Part 2 takes place 30 years in the future and stars Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas and returning to play the same character (Rick Deckard), Harrison Ford. Is this a premium “reference material” disc you have heard about from other critics? Well…your hosts here on MOVIES in 4K layout the details straight!

New shows are launching every week on Thursdays throughout the year, where you will get at least one new review, rating and grade for all of 2020 on a 4K Blu-ray Disc, then our typical schedule of bi-weekly will commence.

MOVIES in 4K is where BillChete and Lady Phantom discuss, review, criticize, analyze and debate one movie that has been released on the 4K Blu-ray format each and every episode. Guiding you on the merit of the movie with recommendations and on the purchasing power of physical media.
